Then I thought I could use it as a preset machine, drawing on the skill of people who know who to program it … but for that I’d still need some type of reliable preset transfer software… There is sounddiver but I find that I just cannot get it to reliably communicate with the WS SR. I had hoped that there would be some type of freeware/shareware programmer due to it being so old – but nothing. I’ve learned how to program it at a basic level… but it takes me FAR too long to create anything which I consider to be great. I believe it has massive potential for atmospheric character sounds – my issue is I just cannot program it with anything like the spontaneity that I had hoped for when purchasing it. I feel I’m wasting a lot of valuable time due to a very inactive Wavestation SR.
